Nissan stitches together the right threads for a competent crossover: V-6 engine, front- or all-wheel drive, automatic transmission, and four-wheel independent suspension. A Rock Creek edition is available again and it adds tougher looking exterior elements but doesn’t much change the Pathfinder’s mission as a mainstream crossover.
